Lights and Shadows - The most suitable name for a song like these one!
From JESC to ESC:
The Dutch girlgroup O'G3NE was announced to represent The Netherlands back in 2016.
Traditionally the broadcaster AVOTROS is the first who announcge the participants for their homecountry in an ESC season but this year Cyprus was faster.
Anyway, the lovely girls are well knowen from representing their homecountry in JESC in 2007 in Rotterdam but they have placed only in the second half of the scoreboard. Later on they became famous in The Netherlands with their success of the 5th season of The Voice of Holland. Is their song able to win another show?

Personally I have to say that I love this entry but everything in the right order!
The biggest power of the song is his way how it puts the girls in scene. Impoertantly is their voice and that the harmony between all of them have to be perfect and that was successfull.
The song itselves is in the beginning very calm but I was really impressed by the vocal range and harmony of the girls because it was perfect and if the song sounds to powerless, the trio is able to make that blowen away!
Especially I liked the Bridge before the last Chorus drops because in another case the harmony reaches its maximum and everything sounds so harmonious.
But anyway I will add one bad point because the Chrous should be sang very powerful but, well O'G3NE tries, I did not feel enough power to be flashed in every way and that is why the song does not get the article "masterpiece".

The conclusion:
All in all Lisa, Amy and Shelly, who are the real names of the groupmembers, are so gorgeous together that I will forget every little mistake which they have done.Lights and Shadows gets its high and lows but every low point is filled with loveliness and harmony how the voices are acting together and that is why it sounds interesting, I think.
You only hear the first notes and you felt in love <3
Well, I do like the moment when everyone should clap their hands because that makes some noise and in any way the song needs a bit "real power". I discussed that in former parts.
The problem is that the structure of the song is very simple and I do not know how much it can impress the juries because sometimes you can hear "Ok, this is a true jury point song"!
I am only hoping that they will reach the final but I am not a good oracel for the Dutch because my last time favorite song from them was Trintje oosterhuis in 2015 and every Eurovision fan knew how this ends. So here are my last words on this: Europe vote for the most harmonious song in the world!!!!(and with a big vocal variability ;-) )
