I can't go on - The suprising winner of the best preselection in Europe!
His personal constellation prize:
The Melodifestivalen is the most watched ESC preselection over Europe and that is mostly because of the mixture between good songs and a better show.
Yesterday the final held in Stockholm and Robin Bengtsson, whon was not one of the big favorites this night, won the show in front of Nano and his song Hold on.
The big favorite to win was Wiktoria (last year 3rd) with As I lay me down but the juries robbed her with only 29 points and her second place in televoting was not enough to climb up onto a better position (she finished 4th).
Robin only became 3rd in televoting but led the jury voting with a big lead a head of Nano.
But is his song able to "suprise" everyone again in Kiev?

Of course I can't go on is not a marvel of music but the mixture between the song song and Robin worked very well.
Last year he seemed to be a bit shy on stage but this year he showed evryone that he is a truely sexbomb. The whole production focued on the dance and actually I do not like this fact but his voice underlines everything what happens on or off stage. It is like that he played with this song and managed it to make it all in all adorable.
Well, as I have said it is not a masterpiece of elements of music. Personally I am not a big fan of his last Bridge before the Chorus drops one last time and well, it is a dancesong but the musically production is only a bit average, nothing special.
All in all his biggest pluspoint is his acting on stage and that is what could impress.

The conclusion:
First of all I would like to mention that, as it was last year, Wiktoria was my personal favorite to win Melfest 2017. Anyway I would like to add too that I am more happy with the entry from this year than last year. I can't go on is very radiofriendly and hearble.
Robin Bengtsson embodies the pure sexiness in his performance and honestly he has done his job on stage very well because an all in all average song with typical Popbeats (...and nothing special...) cecomes so cool.
I liked Constellation Prize more than this song but I am happy at all with the decision of the juries and the Swedish public!
We have not to talk about that this song can reach the final, onviously we only need to discuss how far it can go. Honestly I think that this song could not win because it does not get everything of a winning song but Top 7 is able to reach. Maybe I will vote for you ;-)
